Sierra Vista Sunrise Rotary upgraded the kitchen at Lori's Place on May 1. With funds from a district grant, our club provided Lori's Place with a bookshelf, two pantry cabinets, a rug, and a mural. Additionally, a loveseat and chair and cabinets will round out the comforting and welcoming decor. Our members also took the opportunity to freshen up the outside landscaping.
Lori's Place, also known as Cochise Family Advocacy Center, is a client focused facility. Professionals in disciplines including law enforcement, child safety, medical, mental health, and victim advocacy work together for the benefit of victims of child abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking cases. Case coordination includes crisis response, investigation, prosecution, treatment, and support.
